What to expect

• My original insights. From 20+ years in the trenches as a developer, tech lead, manager, agile coach, and VP of Engineering. Mostly on “evergreen” topics: career development, professionalism, no-nonsense Agile, team management, tech and soft skills, dev productivity, and similar. But not always. For example, I’m recently interested in the newest developments in Large Language Models.

• A sneak peek into how other companies do stuff. From interviews with fellow industry insiders. Mostly on… everything. How they approach quality, dev tooling, product discovery, team management, version control, deployments, tech debt, dev productivity, estimates, code reviews, architecture, recruitment, and so on. Whatever I find useful, interesting, or original.

I write two types of content: regular articles and long-form guides.

How often

Usually, 1-2 times a month. (I like to explore topics in-depth - which takes time 🤷.)
